Sampling & Testing.png

Sampling & NATA Accrediated Testing

Collecting samples and NATA accredited testing to identify asbestos containing materials.

You’ll receive a laboratory report which will include:

  1. the location of the sample;

  2. the kind of material the asbestos is contained within;

  3. which types of asbestos fibres (if any) are found;

We can also provide advice on how to manage your situation and keep your family and staff safe.

All testing is undertaken to meet - GUIDANCE NOTE ON THE MEMBRANE FILTER METHOD FOR ESTIMATING AIRBORNE ASBESTOS FIBRES 2ND Edition [NOHSC:3003(2005)]

Asbestos air monitoring estimates the level of exposure risk to workers and the public and ensure that control measures are effective in minimising the risk of exposure.

Clearance Inspections

Clearance Inspections ensure that the Work Area is fit to be reoccupied. This is undertaken by ensuring all visible asbestos containing material and debris has been removed from the Work Area.

Depending on the project, air monitoring can also be used, in conjunction with Clearance Inspections, to validate that the Work Area is fit to be reoccupied.

Once the clearance inspection has been completed (& Air-Monitoring results are returned) a Clearance Certificate will be issued, and the area can then be re-occupied.
